Acres of Hope opened its doors to the community as it celebrated its 1st Anniversary of giving hope to homeless women with children. Attendees were treated to a tri-tip lunch as they had the opportunity to meet the staff and residents and learn first-hand about the Acres of Hope program.

State Assemblyman Ted Gaines and Placer County Supervisor Jim Holmes were also on hand to congratulate the board of directors and staff and thank them for the important role Acres of Hope plays in addressing the issues surrounding homelessness in the region.
